VASILE, Vincenza (nee Lomascolo) Passed away peacefully on June 24, 2010 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Filippo (1996). Loving mother to Calogero & wife Carol Vasile of Michigan; and Francesca & husband Giovanni Schembri of Windsor. Cherished nonna of Nenza and Casey Pogodzinski, Philip and Gloria Vasile, Rosaria Vasile, Carl and Stacy Vasile, Frances Vasile, John and Joanna Schembri, Nancy and Filippo Miceli, the late Carmela Schembri, and 10 great grandchildren. Dear sister to Vincenzo Lomascolo, late Giuseppe Lomascolo and the late Filippo Lomascolo. Survived by many neices and nephews. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, June 27, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
