Obituary of Andre Paquette

PAQUETTE, Andre Passed away peacefully on Friday June 18th, 2010 after a short yet courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 69 years. Andre will be forever missed by his wife Lucille ( nee) Quenneville, daughters Diane Paquette, Michelle (Sandro) Tesolin, Louella Paquette, all of Windsor; and son Albert Paquette of Alberta. Cherished Pepe of Alyssa and Adrianna Tesolin. Dear brother of Jeannette and the late Robert Roy, Bernadette and Olly Parent, Angeline and Gerard Lacharite, Louis and Jean Paquette, Robert and Doreen Paquette, Juliette and Albert St.Pierre and many nieces and nephews. Andre was a retired Chrysler worker and an avid farmer in the St. Joachim area. He enjoyed walking, socializing and gardening. He was a pillar to his family and his devotion will be remembered. The family wishes to thank the nurses on 6 West at Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital, the 4th floor oncology nurses at Metropolitan Hospital, his nurses from CCAC, Datza and Shelly, the nurses from Malden Park Palliative Care as well as the Personal Support Workers from Red Cross for all their special care during his illness. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday June 22nd, 2010 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 pm. Prayers Tuesday 4 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday June 23rd, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home, then to St. Vincent de Paul Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joachim Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Malden Park Palliative Care Unit or the Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation.
