Obituary of Merlin Edward a.k.a. Ted Hossack

HOSSACK, Merlin Edward "Ted" It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, and grandfather on June 10, 2010 at Hospice Village at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Mary Louise (nee Kavanagh). Loving father to Mary Christine of Tecumseh; Timothy and wife Renee of Windsor; Terry and wife Molly of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Daniel of Detroit; Scott and wife Heather of Grosse Point Farms; the late Robert "Casey" (2001); and Gloria Perozzi-Nantau. Cherished grandfather to Michelle, Matthew, Marisa, Keenan, Paige, Jaden, Owen, Olivia, Jacob, and Sarah. Dear brother to Blance Davies, the late Lily Foster and Mary Ann Penny. Ted had a tremendous love for area hockey. He spent several years in various capacities with Essex Minor Hockey and the Ontario Minor Hockey Association. He was a great man who always did his best. Relatives and friends will be received for visitation on Monday, June 14, 2010 at St. Mary's Church (Maidstone) (12048 County Rd. 34) from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
