GAGLIARDI, Battista Passed away peacefully , with his loving family at his side, on March 25, 2010 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband to Carmela (nee Pellegrino). Loving father to Maria and husband Ralph Pugliese of Puce ; Roseanna and husband Carlo Ferrara of Dorchester, ON. Caro Nonno to Christina and fianc" Ralph Sitler, Gaetano and Matthew Pugliese, and Lauren and Alexandria Ferrara. Dear son of the late Stanislao and Erminia Gagliardi. Dear brother to Ernesto Gagliardi of Windsor; the late Aldo Gagliardi and surviving wife Caterina of Windsor; the late Antonio and surviving wife Giulia of Chicago Ill. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews in Canada and U.S.A. Mr. Gagliardi retired from the Pharmacy Department at Hotel Dieu Hospital following nearly 40 years of service. A special thank you to the Comcare workers and the staff of 7 west at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers on Sunday at 8 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, March 29, 2010 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
