Obituary of John Wynarchuk

WYNARCHUK, John Born in Ukraine on January 19, 1921. Passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on March 21, 2010 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband for 64 years to Pauline. Adored father to Olga Kostyniuk and Gord (Windsor), Peter (2003), John and Nadine (California), Cathy Cikalo and John (Michigan). Will be missed by son-in-law Ted Kostyniuk. Loving grandfather to John, Melanie, and Jeff. John was a long time member of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church, and United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 494. His loves in life were for his family and friends and his passions were gardening and carpentry. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Panakhyda Wednesday at 8 p.m. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church (1505 Langlois Ave.) for visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church Building Fund.
