Obituary of Kenneth Donald Acton

ACTON, Kenneth Donald It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ken, at the age of 77 years, on March 4, 2010 at Royal Oak Long Term Care Centre in Kingsville. Dear father of Joe and wife Beth, Paul and wife Irene, Ken and wife Suzanne. Ken will be sadly missed but always remembered by grandchildren Lisa and husband Andrew, Rob, Jon, Emily, Alex, Laura, and Ryan, all of whom he truly loved and enjoyed. Predeceased by parents Gus and Mary and siblings Frances and Joseph. Also survived by cousins Gloria and husband Paul and niece JoAnne and their families. Ken retired from Windsor Fire Department holding the rank of District Chief with 33 years of service. Resting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Road E., on Friday, March 5, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 12 p.m. in the Chapel. Officiating, Pastor Richard Marr, Windsor Fire Department Chaplain. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
