Dear Rob and Kelly and children, Let me articulate to you that I am not acquainted with those feelings associated with saying goodbye to a Mother or Father in the manner that you have in the resent passing of your Father. We can comfort each other by expressing the hope that we will see them again one day when we will ultimately leave this material earth and be reunited with our loved ones again. Even so, there is an absence, a sadness that is peculiar and unnatural to us as living beings. It brings my attention to the first day of human creation when the Creator breathed, his own breath into the form which he had brought out from the earth. These ancient scriptures speak of a day when this life giving breath will return back to the Creator and that which was animated will cease. Just as this is so , it is also said that one day we will be made new, the old body will be replaced with one similar to the original that was formed on the six day of creation. That body was designed to endure forever and so it will be again for us but in addition to that first design a more inconceivable form will be granted that we can not begin to imagine. I was not able to visit you personally as I was called out of town, and so I offer my sympathy to you in this email knowing very well that one day I will know exactly how you both feel. Paul Appler
