Obituary of John Dickens

DICKENS, John (Jack) Passed away peacefully on February 27, 2010, with his loving family at his side, at 76 years of age. Loving husband of the late Jessie (2007). Dearest father of Penny and husband Bruce Sarafin, Debbie Dickens, Marie and husband Peter Tortola, Mike and wife Mara. Much loved grandfather of Kyle, Paige, Debra, Brandon and Spencer. Jack is also survived by his brother Chuck and wife Beverley, sister Gertie Charbonneau, step-sister Lucille Howard and step-brother Art Dickens. Predeceased by his sister Betty Kurta. Jack also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Jack was a retiree of Chrysler Canada with over 30 years of dedicated service, has been a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #12 and was a Veteran of the Korean War. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., (519) 253-7234 on Wednesday March 3, 2010, from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service on Thursday March 4, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
