Obituary of Frances Jane Fox

FOX, Frances Jane (nee Wheeler) Passed away peacefully on February 27, 2010 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital at the age of 87. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Charles "Pete" (2005) and her parents Ezra and Nina Wheeler. Survived by her children Shirley Ann Schmidt and companion Steve Dinic, Larry Fox and Randy Fox and wife Lynda. Also survived by her grandchildren Cathy Sawatsky and husband John, Connie Filice and husband Peter, Susan Fox, David Fox, Chris Fox and wife Jocelynn, and Steven Fox and wife Natasha. Great Grandmother to Melissa, Stefanie, Jaclyn, Anthony, David, Sierra, Mykala, Anthony, David, Brodie, Sierra, Devon, Mikayla Ashlynn, Sydney and Alannah. Sister of Gerald Wheeler and wife Vera, June Gignac (Pete), Ruth Dupuis (Ed). Predeceased by sisters Lillian Carder (Albert), Dorothy Mayhew (Sy). Predeceased by her brothers Fred Wheeler, Walt Wheeler (Lilas), and Joe Wheeler. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Frances was happily married to Gordon Charles "Pete" Fox for 65 years until his passing in 2005. She was an active member of Central United Church for many years volunteering in various capacities within the church committees.Visitation at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home 1700 Tecumseh Road East (519-253-7234) on Tuesday March 2, 2010 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Wednesday March 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Paul Almond officiating.
