PALAHNUK, Lena Born May 26, 1906 in Bassarabia, Ukraine. Passed away peacefully on February 22, 2010 in Windsor, ON. Reunited with her loving husband Fred (1988) and predeceased by son in law Rudolph Stalmach (1952) and Joseph Lisowik (1996). Loving mother of daughter Dorsey Lisowik and son Fred Palahnuk & wife Mary. Cherished baba of Kenneth Lisowik , Catherine Ray, Jim Palahnuk & wife Cindy, Carol Ieraci & husband Rocky and Connie Palahnuk. Precious great baba Christina, Stephanie, Christian, Cayla and Matthew. Lena was the proud owner and proprietor of Fred's Groceries on Drouillard Road for many years and was a member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral. VISITATION at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home 1700 Tecumseh Rd East on Wednesday from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Prayers Wednesday at 7:30 PM. Funeral service will be held on Thursday February 25, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the chapel. Very Rev. Fr. Pawlo Berezniak officiating. Interment Windsor Memorial Gardens.
