This man spent 10-12 years, 1970 ish onward, living with/married to my mother. They started out in LaSalle, ON and then moved to Malden Township, where Ken took on the roll of step father to my 4 younger sisters. It was a soul crushing period of time for my sisters, who were all, unbeknownst to the others, being sexually assaulted on a regular basis by Ken, some worse than others, from very young ages. This all came to an end when one sister found the courage to call me and tell me. We devised a plan, and I went with a van and moved all of them to safety. It was not a happily ever after ending though, as the girls each have their struggles having to live with the effects of such abuse. Perhaps there are other girls/women in your family haunted by the same experience and have not reached out. They are not alone. And I doubt that Ken is, or should be, resting in peace.
