MADY, Laila It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful lady on February 11, 2010. Beloved and devoted wife of Michael. Loving and devoted mother of Maria and James Douglas, Suzanne and Dan Pallisco. Cherished Grandma of Sadie, James and one on the way. Dear sister of Dr. Anwar, Salim, Dr. Sami, Ramy, Lemia, Amal and the late Issa. Dear sister-in-law of Naim and Sahim, Elias, Mary, Laurice and the late Ouidad. Special cousin to George, Nimer and Sahim. Laila was known to all the lives she touched as a very kind and generous person. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Ignatius of Antioch Orthodox Church (1808 Labelle St.) for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Ignatius of Antioch Orthodox Church or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
