Obituary of Charles Atkin

ATKIN, Charles "Chuck" Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 2, 2010 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met. Campus at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Tania (Teena) for 54 years. Cherished father to Mickey, Kristy LeBlanc and husband Jim, and son Jim. Adored grandpa to J.C., Nikki, and Zane. Survived by his loving mother Mary and late father Howard. Will be missed by brothers Donald and wife Isabel, Rick, and sister Mary Beth Rochon, husband Wayne and nephews Stephen and Scott. Dear friend of Moe and Jean Natyshak and family. He was an owner and proprietor of Riverside "Chuck"s" Variety. Chuck was a past president of Riverside Minor Hockey, Riverside Minor Baseball and a member of Stoney Pointe Sportsmen Club. He was a long time member of Standard Bred Canada and owned and enjoyed many race horses. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, February 5, 2010 from 2-5 and 7-9. Visitation Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 10am until time of service at 11a.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
