Obituary of Angela Scrignaro

SCRIGNARO, Angela (nee Grillo) It is with deep sadness our family announces the sudden passing of Angela Scrignaro, on Sunday, January 24, 2010, after a 14 year courageous battle with Hodgkin's Disease at the age of 44 years. Dear wife of Dino. Beloved mother of Carlo, Roberto and Vanessa. Dearest daughter of Enza Grillo and the late Vincenzo and in-laws Remo Scrignaro and the late Julie. Dear sister of Ann Marie Atkins and husband Mike, Gasper Grillo and girlfriend Karen, Fran Grillo and Nick Stajduhar and Gino Grillo. Sister-in-law of Lora and husband Eddie Piccinin and Lissa and husband Shawn McGovern. Dear aunt of Daniela and Matthew Piccinin, Jonathan and Connor McGovern and Elysium Grillo. Angela was a dedicated hairstylist at the Golden Razor, Devonshire Mall, for over 25 years. Angela was recognized for her achievement as an outstanding sales representative for Avon Products. As the co-chair for St. James parent councill, she volunteered many hours of service and fundraising in support of the students and school. Angela will be missed by a large network of many family, friends and clients. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Monday January 25, 2010 from 7 - 9 pm. and Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St Patrick's Church for Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Carlo, Roberto and Vanessa Scrignaro's Educational Trust Fund or Windsor-Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation.
