Obituary of William John Jones

JONES- William "Bill" Passed away peacefully on January 6, 2010 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus at the age of 79 years. Reunited with his beloved wife Dorothy (Nee Foyne) (2006). Loving father of Ruth Jones and husband Simon of England. Devoted friend to Gary and Val Donlon of Windsor. Incredible uncle to Shane and Samantha, Sierra and Troy Donlon, Neil and Chantelle Donlon. Bill will be sadly missed by his family here in Canada with whom he shared many wonderful memories. Predeceased by numerous brothers and sisters: and survived by many nieces and nephews in England and Australia. Bill was a retired employee of Chrysler Canada and a member of the C.A.W. Local 444 and a member of the R.C.L. Branch #255. In his retirement Bill enjoyed playing pool and playing the piano. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME LTD. 1700 Tecumseh Road East on Saturday January 9, 2010 from 6 to 9pm. Funeral services on Sunday January 10, 2010 at 3:00pm in the Windsor Chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Lung Association of Windsor-Essex County would be greatly appreciated.
