Obituary of Angelo Martini

MARTINI, Angelo Passed away peacefully on January 5, 2010 at Heron Terrace surrounded by his loving family at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband to Angela (nee Gianfermi). Loving father to Anna Mastrogiacomo and husband Domenic, Peter Martini and wife Angela, and Susie Licausi and husband Tommaso; all of Windsor. Cherished Nonno to Vince, Steve, Robert, Peter, Cathy and husband Bryan, John and wife Emily and Bis-nonno to Angellina. Dear brother to Filippo Martini & wife Louisa, Pasquale Martini & wife Maria of Windsor, Predeceased by brothers Arduino, Gino and Loreto Martini. Dear brother-in-law to Lucia, Rosetta and Lidia Martini. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Angelo was a retired employee of General Motors and a member of CAW 1973, St. Angela Merici Church and Ciociaro Club of Windsor. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, January 8 , 2010 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers Friday at 8 p.m. Funeral services on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Windsor Essex County, Scalabrini Foundation for the Poor or the Italian Canadian Handi-Capable Association.
