Obituary of Francesco Melito

MELITO, Francesco. Passed away peacefully on December 23, 2009 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Western Campus at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Maria (nee Cusumano) (Feb. 13, 2002). Loving father to Vincenzo (Jim) and wife Anna-Marie Melito of Windsor. Cherished Nonno to Natalina, Deanna and Alaina. Loving friend and companion to his pet dog Simba. Dear brother to Rosario (Vittina) and predeceased by brothers Stefano (Antonina), and Salvatore (Vita), all of Italy. Dear brother in-law of the late Onofria Riggi (Francesco), late Vito Cusumano (Matia); both of Windsor, Liboria Cusumano of Italy, and predeceased by other family in Italy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Francesco was the proud and retired co-owner of Spee-Dee Auto Wash. Family was very important to Francesco and he took great pride in his 3 cherished and beautiful granddaughters. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Saturday, December 26, 2009 from 7 " 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 " 5 and 7 " 9 p.m. Parish prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
