Obituary of Vjekoslav Semenski

SEMENSKI, Vjekoslav (Mike) Passed away suddenly on December 10, 2009 at his residence at the age of 80 years. Former husband and good friend of Fanika (Nee Kuprivnjak). Loving father to Steve Semenski and wife Carolyn, Antonia Decker, Ed Semenski and wife Dee, and Rose Durfey. Predeceased by son Ivan (2005). Cherished "Deda" to Steve, Billy, Robert, Joshua, Ed, Michael, Ivica, David, Kari, Crystal, Tina, Amanda and many great grandchildren. Dear brother to Ivan Semenski, Josip Semenski, Rozika Vazdar, Fanika Gabrisek. Predeceased by sister Micika. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Croatia. Mike was retired from Ford Motor Company (Foundry) and was a member of CAW Local 200 and a Choir member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, December 13, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services on Monday, December 14, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Fr. Ljubo Lebo officiating. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
