Obituary of Marko Zdunich

ZDUNICH, Marko Born on January 30, 1925 in Gospic, Croatia. Passed away suddenly on December 9, 2009 at his residence at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of 57 years to Ika (nee Pejnovic). Loving father of Ivica Zdunic and wife Vlasta, Milan Zdunic and wife Mirijana; both of Windsor, Ivanka Susnjar and husband Andrija of Lansing, Michigan. Cherished "Dida" of Tomislav, Angela, Frano, Mark, Milan, Nikola, Ante, and great-grandson Andrew. Dear brother to Mary Picha. Predeceased by parents Josip and Ivana Zdunich, brothers John, Mike, Ante, and sisters Roza and Josipa. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Croatia, Argentina and Canada. Marko was a retired employee of Wickes Bumper after 25 years of dedicated service. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME LTD., 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, December 11, 2009 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Parish Prayers Friday 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
