Obituary of Shirley Elizabeth Oleynik

OLEYNIK, Shirley (nee Martin) Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 8, 2009 at Malden Park, Palliative Care at the age of 84 years. After his passing, mom longed for the day she could be reunited with her beloved husband, Ron (1999). Loving mother to Chris and wife Dee, Rob and wife Gail, Jamie and wife Mary Lynn, Mary Beth and husband Terry. Cherished grandma to Christa and Jeff Bennett, Kim and Greg Puzak, Lesley and Rob Samrah, John Oleynik and Karla Erdmann, Paul Oleynik, Katie and Shay Stewart, Matthew Oleynik and Lila Campbell, Benjamin Oleynik and Marianne Chow, Julie and Michael Treloar, Erica, Jessica, Emily, Jenna Regier. Dear great grandma of Zoe and Max Bennett, Jorrel and Kiara Stewart, and Wesley Treloar. Survived by her sisters Joyce Denonville, and Joanne Balogh. Shirley was blessed to have many nieces and nephews. Mom deeply loved her family and had a relentless passion for her community. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 7-9 pm and Friday, December 11, 2009 from 2-5 and from 7-9 pm with Prayers at 7:30 pm. Funeral service will be on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 11:45 am from Windsor Chapel then to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo at Wyandotte St. E.) for a Funeral Mass at 12:30 pm. Interment St. Anne"s Cemetery.
