Obituary of Debra Jean Garant

GARANT, Debra (Debbie) (Nee Grieve) 54 years. Passed away on November 25, 2009 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Loving mother to Melanie Garant and companion Allen Churchill. Predeceased by parents Rheva and Leslie Grieve. Dear sister to Carolyn and Richard Ulch, Paul Jacobs (1976), Cecil (2002) and Wendy Grieve, Sheila Grieve, Linda Allison, Kathy and Bob Morrison, Elizabeth and Harold Chordash, Edna Mae and Darrell Mongeon, Leslie and Mary Anne Grieve. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Debbie was Assistant Manager with Scotiabank for many years and a former member of the Windsor Lawn Bowling Club. The family would like to thank Debbie's amazing circle of supportive friends. A heartfelt thank you to Jan Longboat for helping Debbie along her journey and to the staff at Malden Park for their compassion and care. According to Debbie's wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, November 29, 2009 from 1 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 2 p.m. in the Chapel.
