Obituary of Giuseppe Valore

VALORE, Giuseppe Born September 20, 1938 in Santa Margherita, Sicily passed away suddenly on November 25, 2009 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of 43 years to Liboria ( Risveglia). Loving Father of Paul (Becky), Peter ( Laura), and Joe Jr. Cherished nonno to Ross, Vince, Gabriel, Serena, Bano and Auggie. Predeceased by his parents Paolo and Maria, and his sister Cursa. Survived by his brothers Vito and Giovanni and sister Sara, as well as many nieces and nephews. Giuseppe left Italy at the early age of 16 and found his way to France, and then Switzerland where he started his career as a mason. He then arrived in Canada in 1964 and successfully owned and operated Valore Construction for over 40 years. Giuseppe had enjoyed travelling with his family and spending time with his friends at Gennaro's Caffe playing cards. He had a hard work ethic that he lived by that he passed on to his sons and grandchildren. One of his favourite past times was teaching his grandchiildren his majic tricks and telling them stories of his childhood. He was taken from us much too early and will be sadly missed by his family and will not be forgotten in our hearts. Visitation at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home 1700 Tecumseh Rd East on Saturday from 7 to 9 PM and Sunday from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Parish prayers Sunday at 7:30 PM. Funeral service will take place on Monday November 30, 2009 at 8:45 AM from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for funeral mass at 9:30 AM. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
