McCALLUM, Claire Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 24, 2009 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital at the age of 56 years. Cherished wife of Richard LaPointe. Loving mom to Jeff Marentette & Melissa and Tony Marentette & Sandi . Cherished grandma to Aliya, Jordon and Tyler. Dear sister of John & Chrissy, Anne & Ian and Mary & Don. Loving sister in law to Robert , Louise & Paul and Donald & Marie. Beloved aunt to Michelle & Eric, Robert & Annemarie, Kyle & Michelle and great aunt to Joey, Keegan and Ewan. Survived by many aunts, uncles & cousins in Scotland & England . Claire was a longtime employee at the City of Windsor for 29 years, serving as a Family Support Worker with the Social Service Department. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, November 27, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
