HUGHES - SMITH, Pauline Mary ( nee Jacques) It is with heavy hearts that we express the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on November 1, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Loving wife of the late Albert Smith (Jan. 24, 1959) and Frank Hughes (Jan, 21, 1996). Cherished mother of Arlene Winter (Karl), George Hughes (Patricia), Dave Smith (Amanda), and Kevin Hughes (Sharon). Predeceased by parents Irene and Nelson Jacques. Beloved Grandma of Melanie Fairweather (Ben) of New Zealand; Trevor Hughes, Rachael Smith, Dena Winter, Christina Smith, Heather Hughes, Danielle Smith, and Caitlyn Comeau. Precious great- grandma of Zoe and Lucy. Dear sister of Edward (Marlene) Jacques. Predeceased by Carlton, Robert, and Clayton. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Pauline will be sadly missed by her card buddies, "Thanks Ladies"; especially by her best friends Veronica Sinasac and Mary Winter. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are requested to gather at Blessed Sacrament Church (3707 Queen Street) on Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 10:30 a.m. until time of Pauline's Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
