Obituary of Vittoria Bortolin

BORTOLIN, Vittoria 81 years. Passed on October 25, 2009 with grace, courage and dignity. Reunited with her beloved husband Lorenzo "Nino" (2005). Loving mother to Bruno and wife Lida (Hillman) of Springfield, Tennessee and Diane Bortolin of Windsor. Caring nonna of Heather Gunn and husband Lee; and Dennis (Tennessee). Cherished sister of Antonio Bortolin and wife Caterina and Angelo Bortolin and wife Rita all of Windsor. Dear sister-in-law of Vittorio and wife Anna, Rolando and wife Giovanna, Giacomo ( 1991 ), Luigia Costella and her late husband Giuseppe (1990) all of Windsor , Reno and wife Beverly ( Guelph). Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, Italy, USA, and Argentina. Special cousin of Lelia Lovis of Thunder Bay. Vittoria worked for many years at Windsor Catering. Member of Fogolar Furlan Women"s Association, G. Caboto Italian Women"s Club and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Women"s League. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish Prayers Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Relatives and friends will be received for visitation on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (804 Grand Marais Rd. E.) from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Fr. Nelson Cabral officiating. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
