Obituary of Anna Kozakowski

KOZAKOWSKI, Anna (nee Piskorek) Passed away into God's care on October 5, 2009 at the age of 62 after a long battle with cancer. Loving wife of 39 years to Walter Kozakowski. Anna will be fondly remembered for her willingness to put her family first, above all else. Beloved mother of Bozena Joyes (Alex), Jolanta Mucaki (Mike) and Dorota Patalas (Krzysztof). Devoted Babcia of James and David Joyes, and Nicholas and Eleni Mucaki. Daughter of the late Feliks and Jadwiga Piskorek of Poland. Dear sister of Andrzej Piskorek (Zofia), Barbara Terlikowska, Irena Szymkiewicz (Wlodzimierz). Sister in law of Barabara Morawa (Bronek) of Poland. Anna will also be missed by many Cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Wednesday October 7, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 with parish prayers at 8 pm. Funeral service Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 10:15 am from the funeral home then to Holy Trinity (Polish) Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 11 am. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery Memorial donations made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. Our Family would like to gratefully acknowledge the care and support provided by the doctors and nurses at Metropolitan Hospital and Malden Park, as well as the nurses from Bayshore who took such wonderful care of Anna.
