Obituary of Rita Weatherby

WEATHERBY, Rita Passed away peacefully on September 30, 2009 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital at the age of 79 years. Loving wife of John, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Loving mother to Kevin and wife Donna. Cherished grandma to Brett, Brandon, and Matt. She will be sadly missed by many friends and neighbours. Rita retired from Sears and she will be fondly remembered for her many years of dedicated service with Riverside Minor Hockey.. At Rita's request cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from 2 p.m. until time of Memorial Service to celebrate Rita's life at 4 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Windsor-Essex Humane Society.
