Obituary of Helen Duda

DUDA, Helena (Nee Antonov) Born January 1, 1923 in Buda Warowice in the former U.S.S.R. Passed away on September 20, 2009 at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of 64 years to the late Stanley (May 2009). Dearest mother of Sofia, Jennie Jarackas (Peter 1992) and Edward and Gloria. Precious Babcia to Elliott, Hannah, Rachel and Ethan Duda. Predeceased by parents Wasil and Stasia. Beloved sister of ten. Stan and Helen immigrated to Canada in 1950 and lived in Alberta before moving to Windsor. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Brouillette Manor for the care they provided Helen. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Wednesday at 8 p.m. Funeral Service on Thursday, September 24, 2009 9:30 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Masses for Helen's eternal rest would be appreciated by the family or in kindness, memorial donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Polish Catholic Church Building Fund.
