Dear Charlotte & Family, Our Papa's carried on a had a long running relationship once they came to know each other later in life. I think Hugo was like a substitute father to my dad in that your dad knew my grandparents because they came from the same village. After Papa went to be with the Lord and my Mama eventually moved onto the same floor at the Mennonite home, it is unfortunate that neither had enough recollection to chat about those memories. Now your dad is finally at peace and suffers no more. Maybe, he is having a nice visit with my Papa right now! I offer our condolences on behalf of the family of the late Eugene Dickau (2006) & Helen Dickau
