Obituary of Lauren Elizabeth Stromme

STROMME, Lauren Elizabeth 1979- 2009 "Our precious angel has left us to walk again with the Lord." Lauren passed away on August 28th at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus. She was 29 years old. She was the most beloved daughter of Larry and Laura Stromme, a loving older sister to Elise, a cherished niece and godchild of John and Rose Green and a caring girlfriend of Jason Kell. Lauren was the love of our life. She was a beautiful, intelligent, kind, gentle, and thoughtful person who overcame many obstacles due to her disabling disorder. Lauren had strength and determination to overcome her limitations. She became a bodybuilder and won several competitions. She was an inspiration to all with her radiant smile. Lauren loved spending time with her family and Jason. She enjoyed episodes of Seinfeld, Family Guy and thrived on horror flicks with a quirky sense of humour. Lauren will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as by her trainer Larry and her PSW Heather. Lauren's wish to visit California and the set of Roseanne was granted by the Children's Wish Foundation. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, September 3, 2009 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services Friday, August 4, 2009 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to Our Lady of Atonement Church for Funeral Mass at 11a.m. Cremation to follow.
