To the family of George Corchis, I met George 4 years ago when vacationing in Florida with some friends. It was while golfing with some friends from Windsor at the Tarpon Woods Golf course. The first time I played with the group I was placed on the same team as George and I realize after only a couple of holes that my game was no where near that of my cart partner, George. But being the gentleman that he was, George never made me feel inferior or that I didn't belong on the course with him, even though almost 20 years separated us in age and propably 20 strokes per round, as well!! Over the next 4 years while vacationing in Florida, I was able to golf with George, and his buddies Joe, Rollie and the rest of the gang, on numerous occassions. I alway's looked forward to not only the golf but also the gatherings at the "19th hole" after golf when the teams would settle the day's golf bet's and plan the next outing. There was always alot of laughter and smiles while the stories describing the day's events were exchanged. George Corchis was a "true gentleman" and I will truelly miss seeing him. George, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Gerry I last spoke to George just over a week ago at Sutton Creek when we exchanged hello's
