Obituary of Mariano Cappelletto

Passed away peacefully at the age 82 on February 20, 2020. Born on Aug. 6, 1937 in Treviso, Italy. Youngest of 10 siblings. Survived by his spouse Maria Cappelletto. Dear father to daughters Barbara and her husband Roberto Cancian and Liana Ellis. Proud grandfather (Nonno) to Robert, Belinda & Hanna. He was pre-deceased by all his siblings and survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins between Canada and Italy. Proud member of the IBEW Local 773 for over 50 years. In retirement, he enjoyed working on his farm and enjoyed the company of surrounding friends and neighbours. He enjoyed tending to his extensive garden and raising his chickens. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Central Chapel) on 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234 on Sunday. February 23rd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Prayers will be held at 3:00pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, February 24th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (804 Grand Marais Rd.) at the corner of Parent Ave. and Grand Marais Rd. until time of funeral mass at 11:00am.
