Two little angels, Alba and Anna are happy to be reunited with their mother, Maria Amato, who entered into eternal life, on May 2, 2004, at Hotel Dieu Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Giovanni Battista. Loving mother to Giuseppe Amato and wife Iole of Florida, Giulia Mazzei and husband Salvatore of Germany, Tony Amato and wife Sarah of Windsor, Agostino Amato and wife Marisa (Mary) of Windsor, Rosa Congi and husband Serafino, of Windsor, Rina Stea and husband Frank of Windsor, and predeceased by infant twins Alba and Anna (1955). Predeceased by parents Antonio and Rosa Spadafora. Cherished Nonna to Marla, Erica and husband J.P., Lisa, Luigi, Massimiliano and wife Janette, Maria, Joseph, Marco, Julie, Roberto, Daniela, Luigi and wife Livia, Giuseppina (Pina), Adriana, Francesca and Marilena. Bis Nonna to Yanek, Yaren and Giancarlo.Dear sister to Battista, Saverio and Luigi. Predeceased by sister Caterina and brother Giuseppe. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Monday May 3, 2004, from 7 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday May 4, 2004 from 2 - 5 and 7 -9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services on Wednesday May 5, 2004, at 8:45 a.m. from the Windsor Chapel, then to St. Angela Merici Church, for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
