Obituary of Jacqueline DeGuire
DeGUIRE, Jacqueline " Jackie" (nee Ford) Passed away peacefully on August 13, 2009 at Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of Roger DeGuire. Loving mother to the late Betty Lou Levasseur (2007), the late Raymond Fitzpatrick (2007), Cindy Lou Shaw and husband Kevin of Corunna, ON; Candy Lee Bishop and husband Lee of London, ON. Predeceased by her parents John Ford and Anny May Ford. Cherished grandmother to Ryan Shaw, Gail Burnaby of B.C., Dawn Heather Foster, Dean of Windsor, and Chelsey Bishop of London. Great grandmother to Margaret Lily Foster, Maxwell Foster, Myles Foster, Gavin Shaw and Breanna Shaw. Dear sister to the late Robert Ford, Clifford Ford and wife Bernice of Windsor, the late Violet Nechitaluk, the late John Sr., the late Dorothy Boyle and the late Alvin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jacqueline was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #578, Branch #12 Ladies Auxillary, Catholic Women"s League at Most Precious Blood Church, and the Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, August 16, 2009 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Veteran Service will be held on Sunday at 4 p.m. under the Auspice of the Windsor Veteran's Memorial Committee. Parish Prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Relatives and friends will be received for visitation on Monday, August 17, 2009 at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd. at Tec. Rd. E.) from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Windsor Regional Cancer Centre (Breast Cancer Research) or the Windsor Veterans Memorial Service Committee.
