Obituary of Evon Loretta Chartrand

CHARTRAND, Loretta Yvonne (nee Parisee) Passed away peacefully on August 13, 2009 at Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital at the age of 78 years. Beloved wife of 56 years to Henry Chartrand. Loving mother to Doreen Nisbett and spouse John, Richard Chartrand and spouse Irene, Suzanne O'Toole and spouse Bill, Paul Chartrand and spouse Karen. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Edna Parisee. Dear sister to Lorraine Carter, and the late Eileen Corbeil. Cherished grandmother to Stacy and Brittany Nisbett, Ryan, Melissa, Tyler Eddy, Matthew and Kaitlin Chartrand, Lauren and Janeen O'Toole. Loretta was the past President of the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen and Diocesan Order of Women. She received a Humanitarian Award 1990, Ontario Medal of Citizenship 1988 and University of Sudbury Religious Studies and Catholic Ministries. At Loretta's wishes funeral services will take place in Sault Ste. Marie. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME.
