Dearest Anne and Family -- It is with deep sadness that I learned of Hugh's passing. I have fond memories of Hugh from time spent with both of you at CASP conferences. One of my favourite memories of the CASP conference in Yellowknife was the time I got to spend with Hugh, sitting together and visiting in the school atrium, being together at the banquet, sometimes talking, and sometimes sitting quietly and enjoying the comfort of just being together. I will always remember him as a true gentleman, as a man many of us respected, admired, and so looked forward to seeing each October. He will be dearly missed. Thank you so much, to all of you, for sharing him. Each of us is better for having met him. My heart is with you during your time of sadness. Gayle Vincent
