Obituary of Mikulas Gal

GAL- Mikulas "Mike" November 25 1943- August 9, 2009 It is with great sorrow that the Gal family announces the passing of their beloved husband, father, and friend. Mike passed peacefully with his wife and son by his side after a short but brave battle with cancer. Beloved husband and best friend to Jean. Loving, devoted, and extremely proud father to Christopher Michael. Predeceased by his parents Mikulas and Margita and sister Edita, all of Slovakia. Mike immigrated to Canada from Slovakia in 1968, with a suitcase and a dream. Through perseverance and hard work, turned his profession into his passion. As the owner of the International Truck Dealership in Windsor for many years. Mike achieved his lofty goals and beyond. His sense of humor, kind heart, and wisdom will never be forgotten. He will be sadly missed by his Yorkie Oliver, and many friends and family. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Road East on Wednesday August 12, 2009 from 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm.
