Obituary of Rene Berthiaume

BERTHIAUME, Rene Passed away peacefully on August 4, 2009, with his loving family by his side at Extendicare Southwood Lakes, at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Rita (nee Knapp) (2000). Loving father to Aldie and wife Geraldine, Noel and wife Mary, Patricia and husband Larry, Edmond and wife Pat, Pam, Priscilla and husband Joe, the late Michael (1996) and survived by wife Natalie , Andrew and wife Marijean. Cherished grandfather to 24 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.Predeceased by his parents Aarsene and Libby Berthiaume. Dear brother to Arsene, Joe, and predeceased by siblings Katheine, Leonard, Leo, Evelyne, and Harvey. Best friend to Frank and Lorraine Chauvin. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Thursday at 8 p.m. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday August 7, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church ( 834 Raymo Road ) from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
