Obituary of Gregor Dowzycki

DOWZYCKI, Gregory Passed away peacefully on August 4, 2009 with his family by his side, at Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus, at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Sonia (nee Dudych). Loving father to Natalie and husband Keith Abramovich of Harrow. Cherished grandfather to Judith Anne Coulson and husband David of Toronto, Matthew and Margherita Abramovich of Vancouver B.C. Great grandfather to Bennett and Grayden of Toronto. Brother of the late Julie and brother-in-law Alec Androsiuk and two brothers in Ukraine. Dear uncle of John Kornafel, Bill Androsiuk and Mary Androsiuk. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Ukraine and Canada. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, August 6, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Panakhyda Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, August 7, 2009 at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Church (1505 Langlois Avenue) for visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Rt. Rev. Fr. Eugene Halitsky officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Sts. Vladimir and Olga Church Building Fund or Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
