GOWAN, Edith (nee Hopkins) Passed away peacefully on August 2, 2009 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus. Loving wife of the late Donald (1997) Dear Mother of Alan Hopkins & wife Barb, Don Gowan & wife Vikki, Cindy Bondy & husband Glenn and Shawn Gowan. Adored grandmother of Charlene, A.J., Travis, Brooke and McKayla. Precious great-grandmother to Sierra, Jayden, Ryan, Macey and Skye. Dear sister to Jim (Betty), Roy (Joan), Grant (Judy), Unis (Ben), Larry (Kathy), sister-in-laws Elsie and Mabel. Predeceased by Margaret (Ivan), Ellen (John), Lloyd, Evan, Ruth, Don (Ethel). Survived by many nieces & nephews. Edie will be missed by many close friends and neighbors. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East (519-253-7234) on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 2-5 and 7-9 P.M. Visiting continues on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 12 noon.
