SLIWINSKI, Helena (Nee Mazurek) 84 years. Passed away peacefully at home on July 27, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by husbands Jan Bartnik (1964) and Zygmunt (1996) and son Czeslaw Bartnik (1987). Loving and devoted mother of Mary and husband George Trzeciak. Cherished grandmother (Babcia) of Renata, Ania, Margaret and Betty, and great grandma of Alexis, Selena, Mark and Robert. Dear aunt of Henryk Mazurek. Predeceased by sister Aniela Potomski (1989) and husband Jan (2003) and brother Jozef and sisters in Poland. Helena was a retired employee of the former Chicken Court Restaurant and a faithful and devoted parishioner of Holy Trinity Polish Church. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Tuesday at 7 p.m. Funeral Services on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the Windsor Chapel then to Holy Trinity Polish Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
