Obituary of Doris Irene Duchene

DUCHENE, Doris Irene (nee Marlow). Late of The Residence on the Thames, Chatham and formerly of Windsor. Passed away peacefully on July 1, 2009 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance Hospital at the age of 99 years. Reunited with her beloved husband Alphonse (1974). Loving mother to Donald and wife Dorothy Duchene of Chatham, Ronald and late wife Patricia Duchene of South Carolina. Cherished grandmother to Douglas and Theresa Duchene, Denise and Wayne Griffin, Dawn and Gregory Lyon, Donald and Nina Duchene, Robert Duchene, Michelle Duchene, Cindy Duchene and Marc. Also survived by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Doris was an avid gardener, enjoyed spending time doing her crafts and paintings and had a fondness and love for cats. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E on Sunday, July 5 , 2009 from 7 - 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Services on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
