Obituary of Agnes Jeannette Hillis

HILLIS Agnes Jeannette Passed away peacefully at Brouillette Manor on Wednesday June 17, 2009 at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Tom Hillis (1986). Dear mother of David and wife Julie; Mark and wife Jacki, all of Windsor, and the late Nancy (1983) and Jennifer (2004). Dear grandmother of Rachel and Dylan. Dear sister of Bob Blewett and wife Ada; Audrey Newby of Windsor, and her late husband Jack; Lois Wakeman of Toronto, and her late husband Bill; Pat Reaume, of Windsor; the late George Blewett; and the late Nancy Reay and her surviving husband Al. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. "Ag" as she was known to her friends will be sadly missed by her dear friend and longtime neighbour, Audrey Zappio. Agnes was a longtime and active member at Giles Blvd., Christian Church, and the Sirocco Ladies Club. Mrs. Hillis also volunteered with New Beginnings. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Tuesday June 23, 2009 from 9:00 am until time of service to celebrate Agnes' life at 11:00 am. Pastor Ernie Rolfe officiarting.
