Dear Skiba family: I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to you all on the passing of your mother, my aunt and Godmother. I loved Aunt Gwen dearly and was so sad to hear of her passing. I was disppointed to not have known about the funeral but I know at a time like this you are busy with funeral arrangements and your own greiving and I realize you thought we knew. I'm so glad that Carl called Dolly later to let us know. I would like to do something in your mom's memory. I will talk to the rest of the family and see about making a donation to the Hospice Village. Although we didn't see each other often it was always so nice to visit with Aunt Gwen at weddings and showers and she never forgot to send a card at Christmas or for my birthday, always signed from her and Carl. I had the occasion to visit her a couple of times at her apartment and she always made you feel so welcome. Growiing up I remember getting the most wonderful gifts from her for my birthday.
