LAPRESA, Carmela Passed away peacefully on June 3, 2009 at Hospice Village at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late George Nicka. Dear daughter to the late Ferdinand and Lucia Lapresa. Dear sister to Giuseppe Lapresa and sister-in-law to Maria Tarnovietchi. Loving aunt to Ashley Tarnovietchi and Stephanie Snyder. Dear friend of Florica Sabo and daughter Rodica. Visitation was held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. Visitation will continue on Friday, June 5, 2009 at St. George's Romanian Orthodox Cathedral (1960 Tecumseh Rd. E.) from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
