Obituary of Thomas Joseph Jacob

JACOB, Thomas Jr. Passed away peacefully on May 28, 2009 with family at his side at 79 years of age. Beloved husband of Marcella (Masse). Dearest father of Dana, Denise and husband Brian Wolfe and Richard. Adored grandfather of Dana Wolfe, Jocelyn and Sean Jacob. Loving father in law of Jocelyn Jacob and Karen Jacob. Survived by his brother Philip Jacob and wife Vicky and sister Julia and husband Bob Reddam. Thomas is the son of the late Thomas Sr. and Julia. Dear brother in law to Roger, Ram, Roddy, Blacky, Gabby, Jackie, late Paul, late Cookie, Leo, Maxine, Jerry, Bobby, Chucky, Janette and their families. Cool uncle too many nieces and nephews far too many to mention. He will be sadly missed by his nephew Gerry. Retired from General Motors Transmission with 30 years of service. Proud member of C.A.W. Local #1973. Dedicated Union Representative through his GM career. With his years of experience with Union Affairs he was appointed Windsor-Essex County District Adjudicator. His lifelong passion was being a fan of the Detroit Tigers, listening to the games with his transistor radio, also loved the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Lions?? and the Detroit Pistons but was the number 1 Tiger Fan of all times. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, May 30, 2009 from 2-4:30 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services Monday, June 1, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
