BACHAND-HOMER Passed away on May 27, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Loving Husband of Eulalie (Lil) Bachand after 60 years of marriage. Dear father of Richard Bachand (Edna), Michelle Brosseau, Kevin Bachand (Cheryl), Christine Duval (Dan) and his late son Michael (January 27, 2009) . Dear Pepe of Elizabeth, Celeste, Adam, Kate, Tara, Joshua, and Jessica. Dear great- pepe of Adrianna and Marc. Dear brother of Sr. Eugenie Bachand R.H.S.J. and predeceased by 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Homer retired from Hotel Dieu Hospital with over 30 years of service. He was member of the , Knight of Columbus Mother Theresa Council #12494, and 4th degree Knights of Columbus Fr. Alphonsus Kerckaert Assembley #2289. he served during W.W. II and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #261.He was a dedicated and active parishoner at St. Christopher Church for 53 years. His love of his family was his pride and joy. Windsor Veterans Memorial Services on Friday at 3:00pm Parish prayers Friday at 7pm with the 3rd degree K of C prayers and 4th degree. Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday May 30. 2009 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (804 Grand Marais Road East) from 9:00am until time of funeral mass at 10:00 am.
