Thoughts, prayers and love to all my family back home. My grandpa was the greatest. I’m sure many people say this about their grandpa, but mine actually was. He wasn’t a man of many words, but when he did, it was bundled with knowledge, compassion, love and humour. Many days and nights of my childhood were spent at 2684 Meldrum in Windsor. Hanging out with my grandparents on these occasions were some of the best moments of my life. Helping grandma bake or do crafts, to helping grandpa in the garage or tend to the garden. After we came in from being outside most of the day we would all sit around eat ice cream and watch hockey. Another great memory were the Sealtest parties grandpa would take us to. Who could ever get tired of a full day of games and all you could eat ice cream. We’ll miss you grandpa. My only comfort is that you are reunited with grandma. Until we meet again. Brian Miller.
