Obituary of Matthew Emil Spolarich

Spolarich, Matthew Emil Blessed with 87 years of life went to the Lord peacefully with his loving wife Lilly Ann (Belovitz) and family at his side. Father to Pamela Plante (Normand), Gregory Spolarich (Cheryl), and Douglas Spolarich (Pamela). Loving Papa to Michael Plante (Kelly), Natalie Messina (James), Jason Spolarich, and Hailey Spolarich. Loving Great Papa to Aveya, Olivia, Alessia, and Luke, Niece Kimberly Bryce, Nephew Michael Spolarich (December 2013). Predeceased by his parents Michael and Marija Spoljaric, and brothers Thomas Joseph (October 1993), and Vincent (Croatia). Matthew was a retiree of Blue Cross, Blue Shield of Michigan, and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4824. Coached Hockey for the Tecumseh Minor Hockey Team and Tecumseh Little League Baseball. Our thanks to the Extendicare Tecumseh Nursing Home staff and the doctors and nurses at 5N WRH for their compassionate care. Visitation will be held on February 18, 2020 at Windsor Chapel (BANWELL CHAPEL) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Prayers will be held at 4:30pm. Visitation will continue on February 19, 2020 at Good Shepard Parish at 10am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial. In lieu of flowers donations to Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, Heart and Stroke, or Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
