Obituary of Clorinda Pecile

PECILE, Clorinda (nee Del Zotto) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of a loving mother, nonna and bis-nonna on May 7, 2009 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Arzido (2001). Loving and devoted mother to Cesare Pecile and wife Nadia of Tecumseh. Cherished Nonna to Tania Colle and husband David, Daniela and fianc" Tony Palermo and Erica. Proud bis-nonna to Isabella. Dear sister to Vinicio and wife Maria Del Zotto of Italy. Dear sister-in-law to the late Yolanda and Antonio Meret and the late Ivo and Rosina Pecile. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Clorinda's greatest love was her family. She truly enjoyed singing the traditional Furlan Folklore Songs with Gruppo Dell'Amicize Ladies. In her past time Clorinda took great pride and fulfillment in her gardening, knitting and sewing accomplishments. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, May 8, 2009 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7 p.m. Funeral Services on Saturday, May, 9, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Scleroderma Society, the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or the Italian Canadian HandiCapable Association.
